New Pure EV Opel Corsa Unveiled!

Opel took the covers off their new six gen Opel Corsa and as interesting as it was, the one thing that people were most interested to learn about is the new pure EV Corsa that Opel will be offering with the other standard Corsa models.

Called the Corsa-e, the new pure EV from Opel will be able to offer about 205miles of range on a single charge. Opel also plans to offer their EV model first before they start taking orders for the diesel and petrol versions.

The Opel Corsa-e is powered by a 50kWh battery pack that can be fast charge up to 80% in 30 minutes. The owners can choose to charge it up with cable, wall box or high-speed charger. The vehicle also comes with an app called the myOpel app that will allow the buyers to check on the state of charge using their smart device.

The Corsa-e will be able to offer about 135hp and 191lb ft of torque and will be able to go from 0-62mph in 8.1 seconds.

Other new features that we can expect to find on the Corsa-e includes the glare-free IntelliLux LED matrix headlights, a high-res camera that controls eight LED elements and more.
