We have already seen what the eight-gen Volkswagen Golf will have to offer and fans are now looking forward to seeing what the GTI will be offering when it arrived.
The Volkswagen GTi was spotted getting tested out in the open with barely any covers on and in the cold. From what we can see, the front will be fitted with the honeycomb lower grille. We can also see the red calipers under the wheels and in the back, the dual exhaust setup.
There have been no indication that there is going to be a powertrain upgrade so we are expecting to see the 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that could be mated to a manual or dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The GTi will most likely get all the new tech and features that the Golf was given as well. As for when it will be arriving, there is speculationa that we might see it arrive as a 2021 model next year.
