Next Nissan GT-R Bracing For A Significant Price Hike!

By  |

The Nissan GT-R is widely loved for its performance and also the value which it has to offer. For a car that can stand toe-to-toe with the Bugatti Veyron, the GT-R was priced cheaper than every other supercar in the late 2000s and this has made it popular among enthusiasts.

But in recent years, prices of the GT-R have been shooting up and it is expected to hit a new peak when Nissan launches the next-gen model. The carmaker has already confirmed that the next-gen GT-R is already in the works and they desire for the vehicle to offer the fastest track performance around.

This is a huge goal for Nissan to achieve with the GT-R, especially when you consider that Nissan is building towards a showdown with the Mercedes-AMG Project One, Porsche 911 GT2 and even the vehicles from McLaren.

A lot needs to be done for the next GT-R to achieve its goals hence we don’t expect the vehicle to be cheap at all. If the latest Acura NSX can multiply the price tag of its predecessor by a significant margin, the next-gen GT-R may retail above the $200,000 mark. We hope we are wrong though.
