Nissan Rogue Crossover Seeing Things?

Nissan might have to recall some of the Nissan Rogue after NHTSA reported that they are looking to some of the reports claiming that the Nissan Rogue would sometimes brake without any reason.

A request was made by the Center for Auto Safety and NHTSA is now looking into it. According to the report, it is believed that the automatic emergency braking system in the Rogue was being engaged with no apparent reason. Nissan also responded by saying that they are investigating this issue as well and has already started notifying their customers for a software update.

So far, no reports of injuries or death caused by the issue were reported. A total of 657,000 units will be affected by the recall. Models that will be affected will be the 2017 – 2018 Nissan Rogue.

This is not the first time Nissan is facing brake issues as they are facing a class-action lawsuit since 2015.
