Porsche Next OI Returns Once More As Porsche Seek Solution From Developers

By  |

Porsche will be bringing back the Porsche Next OI competition once more to give developers the chance to come out with their own apps and services and test it using the simulated connected car APIs.

Participating developers will have access to about 300 different data sources and will be working with in-browser Porsche car emulators but things time, it will be for the Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo.

Porsche did the same thing last year resulting in more than 270 car application and service ideas submitted by more than 1000 developers. While the last competition focus on navigation, parting and infotainment, this competition will focus on driving experience, more specifically Home, Driving and Arrival.

Those interested will have to submit their apps by the 30th of April. The winners will get to work to Porsche experts on their prototype. Not only is this is great opportunity for the developers to work with Porsche but it is also a great way for Porsche to see how they can push their vehicle in terms of techs and features.
