Those looking for a more interesting EV would look to Tesla but it looks like the new Porsche Taycan might be taking the fight to them.
According to Porsche Cars North America CEO Klaus Zellmer, Porsche Taycan has been getting the attention of current Tesla owners. No numbers were given but he did say that thousands of customers are showing interest in the Porsche Taycan.
Seeing as there are actually not that many premium electric vehicles out there, it comes as no surprise that this is happening. Of course, interest does not always translate into sales but for the Porsche, that is good enough for their first go at an EV crossover model.
Other automakers have also been trying to come out with Tesla rivals like the Audi e-Tron and Jaguar I-Pace but those did not really threaten Tesla.
