PSA Getting Opel Right So Early On

By  |

General Motors might not know what to do with Opel and Vauxhall but PSA clearly knows as the France company announce that they have turn profit with Open/ Vauxhall.

It was reported that they sold about 3.88 million vehicle sales across the group with a 6.8% sales hike for 2018 which is not surprising but the fact they also reported that the Opel and Vauxhall were profitable after a year is pretty surprising since GM was far from achieving that.

PSA also announce their plans to become a global vehicle manufacturer by increasing their sales outside of Europe. They also announce that they will be restarting their Peugeot sales in the US by 2026.

They will also add that 50% of their vehicles that will be offered in the US will be electrified by 2021 and by 2025, they will have a fully electrified model portfolio. We do not know if they are on the right track yet but we will be watching.
