Subaru BRZ tS Ranked Above Honda Type R, Ford Focus RS!

A couple of weeks ago, Subaru did the unexpected and that is to launch the BRZ tS. Also known as the BRZ that is tuned by STI, this higher end model comes with extensive upgrades which boost the overall performance of the cars.

We have covered the BRZ tS before and true enough, the car promises better handling and a more engaging driving experience. The only downside to this is that Subaru is still unable to fix the underpowered issue that has plagued the BRZ just like its twin, the Toyota 86.

Power is the only setback with the BRZ tS and it can be disappointing for those that are truly interested in the vehicle. But then again, there is no regret to getting the BRZ tS because the superb handling of the vehicle is now being backed up by stellar reliability.

Consumer Reports have named the BRZ as the most reliable vehicle in Subaru’s camp and it is also the only sports car (alongside the 86) to sit in the top ten most reliable car charts. The BRZ has also successfully pushed Subaru upwards on brand reliability charts.

It basically means that the Subaru BRZ tS is unlikely to suffer a breakdown – something that cannot be said for other affordable sports cars like the Honda Civic Type R and the Ford Focus RS. Besides, you can always solve the underpowered crisis with aftermarket parts, right?
