Tesla Model 3 Performance Calls Out Alfa Romeo Giulia QV!

By  |

The Model 3 is an entry-level EV for Tesla but that won’t stop it from being as exciting as the Model X and the Model S. Tesla has made it clear that they want to offer the best EV experience on all of their cars and this includes the Model 3.

This has led Tesla to announcing an upgraded version of their entry-level vehicle, which is the Model 3 Performance. The car is basically an ordinary Model 3 but with more driving configurations that is aimed at maximizing performance.

While not released yet, Tesla has already confirmed that the Model 3 Performance will come with a Track Mode as well as the ability to hit 60mph in 3.3 seconds.

Personally, we feel that this has gotten interesting because the potential that comes with the Model 3 Performance sounds like it is on the same plane with the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. The latter runs on a Ferrari-inspired twin-turbo V6 and it can do 60mph from stop in 3.3 seconds.

The only difference here is that the Giulia QV is a proven performer on the track hence it will be interesting to see how the Model 3 Performance will contest against it.

I notice that Tesla is not calling out to the Porsche folks and their Nurburgring tuned Taycan electric sports sedan. They better not,if they have any sense.

The difference is you can actually get an Alfa before 2020.
