Tesla Model S P100D Is Not Overpriced, Here’s Why

By  |

Tesla Motors have officially released the pricing figures for the upcoming Model S P100D. The car is equipped with a large 100kWh battery and it promises greater performance and driving range.

The thing is that the P100D won’t be cheap to own as it will retail from $134,500. This is about $20,000 more than the previous range-topper, the P90D. $20,000 is a big leap in figures hence it is understandable why many are already labelling the car as overpriced.

However, they should not that the P100D offers them an extra 62 miles of driving range. In addition to that, the P100D is a lot faster than the P90D. The car can practically accelerate from 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds.

The P100D is certainly an insane EV car and it is worth the $20,000 extra fee. Besides, you will get the best aftermarket service if you opt for the Model S P100D.
