Tesla Secretly Halting Used Model S Sales!

By  |

Tesla can be commended for starting an automotive revolution through the release of the Model S but not everything about the carmaker is perfect. Unlike how it is with other carmakers, Tesla has been involved in a number of high-profile controversies.

The latest is with the abuse of software that can deem a Model S sold to be unusable. It was reported earlier today that several Model S from the first-year model has received a wreckage tag upon being sold to the used car dealers.

When the tag is given to the Model S, the car will no longer be able to run hence leaving the sellers at a loss. For the full details on this, you can check out the clip below.

The way we see it, such an incident will only create a push for software experts to start hacking the Model S.

Basic reading competency is at work!

“Salvaged Title” are not under a warranty and it is certified to be unfit for the public road.

That’s why the owner got a bargain for the “Salvaged Titled” car.

If the owner wants to operate it on public roads, he just needs to pay up $10,000 for road-worthiness inspections.
