We can expect to see some important changes being made to Destiny 2 when the Shadowkeep expansion arrives and one of the updates will include balancing out the weapons.
It was reported that Bungie will be fixing some of their weapons’ perks that can stack. One of the weapons that will get nerf will be The Recluse, a pinnacle submachine gun that has been pretty popular in the game.
Bungie added that the ability to stack perks has created weapons that have massive damage output making those that own the gun and a serious disadvantage and so, they want to dial it back a little to make sure the playing field is even.
They are also looking into removing pinnacle weapons from the game and replace them with ritual weapons which will be easier to obtain but also a little less powerful compared to pinnacle weapons.
