Borderlands 2 New DLC Announcement Looks Back To The Past

Borderlands 3 is just around the corner which is great but it also means that players will have to say goodbye to Borderlands 2 soon. Before that happens, the developer is looking to send it off with a new DLC.

The DLC was leaked earlier this month so fans already know that there would be one arriving. Called Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary will focus on reminding fans of the good and bad experience that fans had to deal with on Pandora these last seven years.

The DLC starts off after the ending of Tales from the Borderlands where things seem to have calmed down significantly as we see some key characters coming together to analyze the Vault Key but the peace could not last as Hector, a military stooge came and snatch the Vault Key away.

It was revealed that Hector plans to restore the Pandoran wastelands but the gas that they are using would also turn humans into a hybrid plant-like monsters.

The story itself sounds pretty straightforward but it is probably something that the fans would need to say goodbye to their beloved game before moving on to the next one.
