Call of Duty: Modern Warfare DLC Will Favor PS4

With Activision and Sony’s relationship still going strong, we can expect PS4 players to get first dibs on whatever Activision will have to offer including the upcoming DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

A new trailer was released by Activision confirming that the new content will be released on the PlayStation 4 first but luckily, the players on the other platforms will not have to wait that long as their update will be arriving one week later.

A one-week headstart is not going to be an issue for most people. Of course, with cross-play support now available, we are left wondering how this will affect the cross-play between the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, when the update arrives since PS4, will have contents that Xbox One and PC players don’t.

It is also believed that a new Call of Duty game will be announced at E3 2019 this year possibly another Black Ops game.
