Destiny 2 Benefitting Most From Red Dead Redemption 2 Delay

Destiny 2 was launched a week ago and it has jumped straight to become the most actively played games right now. The confirmation was made by developer Bungie today when they revealed that Destiny 2 has over 1.2 million concurrent players online.

This is quite an achievement for Destiny 2 and part of the reason it is able to enjoy an impactful debut is because of Red Dead Redemption 2. A couple of months ago, Rockstar confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 won’t be making its debut this year and it led to multiple game publishers jumping in joy.

Among them is the publisher for Destiny 2, Activision. The firm revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 absence in 2017 will give them the opportunity to get the most out of their launching titles. Activision enjoyed huge sales with Destiny 2 and this puts them on the front foot to end 2017 on a high.
