Dying Light 2 Still Going Strong Despite Studio Layoffs

Fans of the Dying Light game have been looking forward to getting the sequel to the series which is currently being developed by Techland. Well, the company has recently announced a round of layoffs which have led many to believe that Dying Light 2 might be in danger but that is far from the case here.

According to Techland, the job losses are part of their decision to close their Polish distribution and publishing department. Those employees that have been laid off will be getting a severance package and will also receive help in finding new jobs. They also added that mployees were made aware of the move before it became official.

That means the layoff will not be affecting the game as no game developers were affected by it. They are currently working on developing and publishing two AAA games, Dying Light 2 and God’s Trigger.
