Elder Scrolls 6 Kissing Black Marsh Dreams Goodbye!

By  |

E3 2018 saw Bethesda making Elder Scrolls 6’s development official and it also brought up a short 37-second clip of the game’s title. No gameplay sequence was shown in the clip as Bethesda has yet to make a big progress with Elder Scrolls 6’s development.

Even so, the teaser video is enough to confirm on one major detail and it is with the region which Elder Scrolls 6 is set in. Prior to the release of the clip, many predicted the sequel to be set in the Black Marsh. There are also reports claiming Elder Scrolls 6 to remain in Skyrim.

But the video has confirmed that neither locations will be the way for the game. If you are to check out the teaser, you will notice a long coastline with numerous hills and mountains in the background. The setting has been perfectly described in the Elder Scrolls lore as an area in either Hammerfell or High Rock.

The two regions are located next to each other and Elder Scrolls 6 can be set in either one. The certainty here is that there won’t be a region for Black Marsh in Elder Scrolls 6.
