Fable 4 Caught In ‘Adult vs General Market’ Dilemma?

By  |

It has been officially confirmed that Microsoft will be launching Fable 4 in the near future and many are excited for the upcoming sequel. But despite this fact, Microsoft has not talked much in regards to Fable 4 hence we don’t exactly know what the game will have to offer.

If industry insiders are to be referred to, Fable 4 will keep up with its animatic, or cartoonish, style that was established since the original game but it will also incorporate more elements or realism.

By this, the insiders have pointed out on an open world setup that is comparable to Elder Scrolls and The Witcher. Furthermore, there are the rumours that are claiming that Microsoft is having trouble deciding on the market which Fable 4 will approach.

The Fable Series, despite having a kiddy-like setup, is subliminally explicit and this is due to the game targeting the general market. For Fable 4, rumours are claiming that Microsoft wants the game to have a more adult-like approach where they won’t have to hold back on the elements of sex and violence.

With so much uncertainty for Fable 4, it will be interesting to see on what sort of direction which the game will take and we are likely to find out more about it at E3 this year. Stay tuned.
