GTA 6 Caught Taking Away Red Dead Redemption 2’s Limelight!

About a year after GTA 5 got released on the current generation consoles, Rockstar made it known that they have commenced brainstorming 20 years’ worth of ideas for a future sequel, GTA 6. This acts as a confirmation that GTA 6 will get released and the game is slowly being pieced together by Rockstar.

But before GTA 6 can happen, Rockstar will launch another major IP in Red Dead Redemption 2. The cowboy-themed title will be making its debut later this year and it hopes to be as big as GTA 5.

However, for Rockstar, they’re not expecting much because the popularity of GTA cannot be rivalled at all. GTA 5 has been named as the most profitable game in history and this can only be beaten by GTA 6. While they would love to see Red Dead Redemption 2 turn into a massive success, they still believe that the gold mine is with GTA 6.

The sudden statement from Rockstar clearly shows the greater love for the GTA series and we cannot blame them for it. On the other hand, it’s pretty awkward to talk about GTA 6 when all the focus should be on Red Dead Redemption 2.
