Red Dead Online: How The In-Game Marketplace Will Work?

By  |

Rockstar has been releasing the Red Dead Online mode to some players as part of the progressive beta rollout giving us an idea of what the micro-transaction will offer in the game and how it works.

According to the blogs, most of the marketplace option is not active now as this is just the beta testing phase and those will eventually open up. One thing that fans have been speculating about is the gold bars in the game.

Some players pointed out that you can change your honor status to Dishonorable in the game for three gold bars and since the micro-transaction suggest that you can also buy gold bars with your own real money, it does suggest that players might be able to use real money to change their honor status in future which could greatly affect the gameplay of the game.

For now, only those with the Ultimate Edition can try out the beta. Players that logged time on the launch day will get to test it out on the 28th of November while the those that played the game on the 29th of October will get to try it out on the 29th of November. The rest of the players will have to wait until the 30th of November.
