Red Dead Redemption 2: Wait Not Over For Steam Players

After the long wait, PC fans will finally be able to get their hands on the new Red Dead Redemption 2 game but if you plan to play it on Steam, well, you will have to wait a little longer.

According to Rockstar, the new PC release date will only be for those that plan to play it through Epic Games Store but this is not because of any exclusivity deal. Rockstar will also be launching the game on its own PC game launcher as well.

Rockstar is currently offering a pre-order bonus for the game. If you place an order from the 9th of October until the 22nd of October from the Rockstar Games Launcher, you will get two free Rockstar games on top of the free GTA: San Andreas copy that they will be offering if you download the launcher before the 8th of October.

If you don’t want to order through the Rockstar Game Launcher, pre-orders will be offered by the other digital retailers including Epic Games Store, Humble Store and more on the 23rd of October and those will give players 25 gold bars.

As for Steam users, they will have to wait until December instead of the 5th of November to play the game. The game will also be available on Google Stadia went that service goes live.
