Vampyr Has Accomplished Its Real-World Gold

About a year ago, developers at Dontnod revealed that they have kept expectations low for their very first RPG – Vampyr.

Dontnod said that if they are to sell a million copies of Vampyr, they will call the game a huge success. The minimum aim is for Vampyr to hit 500,000 copies as that would make the game profitable.

Well, Vampyr has been released last month and we can confirm that the game has meet its minimum expectation. It was reported today that 450,000 copies of Vampyr has been sold in the game’s first month and this confirms that the game has made a profit.

This is only in Vampyr’s first month and we are expecting the numbers to grow extensively towards the end of this year – particularly during the holiday season.
