Verizon Joins Fight Against Microsoft & Google

By  |

It looks like every tech company now wants to have a streaming service of their own. We have already heard that Microsoft, Google, Sony, and a few more companies are working on a streaming service of their own and now it looks like Verizon will be joining the fight as well.

The Verge reported that Verizon is working on a streaming service called Verizon Gaming. The report added that the system is getting alpha-tested right now and when ready, will be released to Android smartphones.

It was added that they are currently testing with about 135 games including some of the popular games like God of War, Battlefield V, Fortnite, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

It was suggested that the system is still in its early stages of development so we might have to wait years before we actually see the Verizon Gaming streaming service.

Other companies that has already made it clear that they are looking to release a streaming service of their own includes Amazon and EA.
