Watch Dogs 3 Slated For Q2 2019 Release

By  |

The sales success of Watch Dogs 2 has led Ubisoft into confirming that they will produce more sequels in the future and it resulted in many believing that 2018 will be the year where the developers will announce on Watch Dogs 3.

Well, those beliefs are wrong as Watch Dogs 3 has failed to make an appearance at every major gaming event this year. So, when is Watch Dogs 3 coming?

There is no certain answer but we do have a series of clues from Ubisoft that paints a rough picture on when to expect the upcoming sequel. The first sign surfaced online on April Fools this year in the form of a prank from Ubisoft. The game developer could choose a prank of any shapes and form but they settled for one that has a hacking theme. Clearly, this is a sign of Watch Dogs 3.

And the fact that they opted hacking in April this year suggests that they are doing something with the series. The development secrecy has probably led them into hinting on Watch Dogs 3 in the form of a prank.

Fast forward to E3 2018, Ubisoft revealed that there are three massive AAA titles coming out by June next year. The first is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and the second is believed to be The Division 2. The third game remains unannounced for now and it greatly suggests Watch Dogs 3.

With that being said, 2019 is likely to see the debut of the hotly anticipated sequel in the Watch Dogs series and we sure hope that we are right.
