Apple FaceTime Bug Fix Finally Ready

Apple users were not too happy when it was revealed that a bug with Apple’s FaceTime app would allow some people access to the receivers’ microphone and camera as well. Apple was quick to response to the issue by annoucing that they are aware of the issue and is working on a solution.

While they worked on a solution, Apple shut down the Group FaceTime feature to prevent people from exploiting the bug. They then promise to release the fix last week but later pushed it back another week and now, the fix is finally ready.

Apple release the fix along with an apology to their users. They also added that their servers will block the Live Photo feature of FaceTime for users with older version of iOS and macOS to protect those with older softwares.

So if you want to use the new Group FaceTime features, you will need to update your device to the latest software.
