Google Pixel 3 XL: You May Want To Insure Your Purchase

By  |

What is there not to like about Google’s all-new, Pixel 3 XL? With the exception of the notch and 3.5mm audio jack, the phone offers the best features around. Even the display looks significantly better than its predecessor and this is owed to the OLED panel being supplied by Samsung.

It’s a flagship that is fitting for the 2018 phone of the year title and we would gladly recommend the device to anyone who is looking for an upgrade. But when handing out our recommendation, we will also try to get potential buyers to insure the device.

This is because the Pixel 3 XL can be a nightmare to fix if you happen to break anything. Screens are the most commonly broken part of the phone and fixing it on the Pixel 3 XL won’t be a walk in the park.

Like how it was revealed by iFixit, you will need to replace the whole midframe just to get to the shattered screen. The demanding effort and cost to get the display fixed can be a problem for you hence the importance of product insurance.

Other than that, the Pixel 3 XL is a sweet offering and it’s an extra bonus if you’re the sort that rarely drops your device.
