HTC U12 Plus Has Found A Way To Screw-Up Again!

By  |

The U12 Plus is the next major phone to come from HTC and much like its predecessor, the device is hoping to become the company’s financial game changer.

HTC has not been doing well on the sales front in recent years and they are desperate for a device that can put them back on the league of mass-market manufacturers. As far as things go, the U12 Plus promises to arrive with an attractive specs sheet and all that is left is for HTC to apply the right marketing technique to reel in the consumers into getting the phone.

The only unfortunate bit here is that HTC has found a way to screw up yet again. Just like how it was with the removal of the headphone jack on the U11, the U12 won’t be fixing that problem at all. To make things worse, HTC has announced earlier today that the U12 Plus will not arrive with a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter.

The simple dongle cost a mere $12 in their store and it was included in the U11. Not having it as a standard offering on the U12 Plus is just pure annoyance for the average consumer and this can have a negative consequence on the phone’s sales potential.

Must just be a US thing, my order from the UK HTC Club site has a free headphone adapter included for free and all for £629!
