HTC U12 Plus Has Shot Itself In The Foot, Again

By  |

HTC is a smartphone manufacturer that is struggling to survive in the market and they have been looking for that game-changing device for many years now. The situation is no different for the U12 Plus as the device hopes to achieve respectable sales.

But like previous HTC flagships, the U12 Plus has found a way to botch it and limit their potential. If you are to purchase the U12 Plus here in the US, you will notice that the flaw is with the absence of a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter.

It is just hard to understand why the feature is not offered as a standard and we don’t see how HTC can save a lot from offering a $12 dongle with the U12 Plus.

HTC botched it last year when they removed the 3.5mm jack on the U11. Just when the fans have gotten used to the absence of an audio jack, the U12 Plus has decided to cheap out by not offering a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. How disappointing.
