Huawei MediaPad M5 Brings Life Into Stale Market!

There is a reason that explains why the Apple iPad is the dominant name in the tablet scene and it is due to the lack of competition from the Android world.

Unlike how it is with the smartphone market where the iPhones and Android flagships continuously try to outdo each other, the tablet scene is suffering from stagnancy and it doesn’t help seeing Android OEMs showing little interest in competing on this front.

The stale state of the Android tablet scene has been around for many years already and it led to a number of consumers losing hope in wanting a powerful Android tablet. But then again, things are not entirely dead for the Android realm as the latest tablet from Huawei has shown to the world that it can compete with the iPad.

Known as the Mediapad M5, Huawei has equipped the device with the Kirin 960 chip and 4GB of RAM. The setup may not be as fast as an Apple iPad but the difference in performance is not that huge either.

The best part about it is that the Mediapad M5 has made up for its lapses in performance by having tons of features to offer. This is something that isn’t available on a stock Apple iPad hence making the Mediapad M5 as a sign of life in the dead tablet scene.

The question is this. Will the Mediapad M5 be able to tempt a product response from other manufacturers?
