PvP was added to the Pokemon Go app last year. When it was added, players would only take on other players in person but you will soon be able to take on other trainers all over the world as Niantic announce the new online feature.
Called the Go Battle-League, the developer announces that players will soon be able to battle opponents from all over the globe through an online matching system that will rise in the ranks of the league. To enter, you need first need to “walk” but we do not know what the developers meant by that.
More details will be revealed in a developer video soon while the feature will only be added to the game early next year.
Pokemon Go’s Halloween 2019 event is also happening right now. Players will be able to see some of the Pokemons appear on the map with costumes on.
