Motorola One Power Finally Addresses Nokia Threat

By  |

Since HMD Global revived Nokia, the brand has turned into one of the most dominant names in the midrange market. This is owed to the value that comes with just about every Nokia phone. They are simply cheaper than rival phones of similar offering.

Motorola, in particular, has suffered a lot since Nokia returned into the frame as the Moto G-Series have shown a significant decline in sales. Now, Motorola is finally addressing the threat through the release of their first ever Android One smartphone, the One Power.

This particular device made its debut in India a week ago with a price tag of about US$220 after conversion. For an affordable device, the One Power is packed with plenty of power to offer as it runs on the latest Snapdragon 636 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The high-value offering does not end there as the Android One also comes with a 6.2” full HD screen and a massive 5,000mAh battery that can keep it lasting. It will be interesting to see how Nokia responds to this one.
