Nokia 6.1 Plus: The Best Midrange Phone This Year?

By  |

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is the next major smartphone to come from HMD Global and it is perceived by many as the Nokia X6 made for the markets outside of China.

This is an expectation that is bred by the countless similarities across the 6.1 Plus and the X6. To keep things brief, both devices rely on Snapdragon 636 with 4GB of RAM and their priority is to offer the best mobile camera experience for its price.

Speaking of price, new reports have surfaced online claiming that the Nokia 6.1 Plus will retail at $290 when released and this is a really low calling fee for a phone which has a technical specs sheet that is a level below pure flagship.

Adding to the fact that the Nokia 6.1 Plus will have a glass back panel and stock Android OS, we don’t see why the device can’t move in large chunks when it gets released globally. For all we know, the Nokia 6.1 Plus may end up being the best midrange device of 2018.
