Samsung Galaxy A9 Thinks Big… Literally Big!

‘The more the merrier. Bigger is better.’ Anything that is related to an increment in numbers simply associates well with Samsung’s next major phone, the Galaxy A9.

The midrange produce is expected to make its debut in the coming weeks and the details are promising a wide-scale bump in numbers. Starting with the display, the Galaxy A9 is said to have a large 6.28” screen. But to keep it within the boundaries of the midrange scene, resolution will be limited to 1080p.

Such a large display will demand a strong performance and this explains why Samsung has decided on the Snapdragon 660 chipset with a whopping 6GB of RAM. Internal storage, however, will blur the lines of the midrange scene as the A9 will come with 128GB of space to offer.

But the one feature that raised our eyebrows the most is with the rear camera setup on the Galaxy A9. For the first time ever from Samsung, the A9 will have 4 cameras on the back panel with the description reading “24 MP f/1.7 (primary), 5 MP f/2.2 (depth), 8 MP f/2.4 (ultra-wide), 10 MP f/2.4 (zoom)”.

This is a new thing and it strongly suggests that the A9 will act as an experimental device that will shape Samsung’s future products. It will be interesting to see how the A9 truly performs when in our hands.
