Samsung Galaxy S8 vs Google Pixel 2: Comparison Exposes Play Store Flaw!

By  |

Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Google Pixel 2 are two of the best flagship smartphones from last year and they both have their sets of pros and cons.

If you are a big fan of flagship phones, you should be aware of the good and bad things on the Galaxy S8 and the Pixel 2 hence we are not going to compare the two phones at all. Instead, we are going to share with you a comparison video that involves the S8 and the Pixel 2 which happens to highlight on a major issue with some applications from Google.

For more than a year already, we noticed that there is often a lag when launching Google Play Store regardless of what Android-powered device used. Our suspicion strengthened further in the comparison video as it shows that even the most powerful phones suffer from massive drop in frame rates when opening Google Play Store.

It gets more mysterious when some of our readers suggest that they encountered similar drop in frame rates when launching YouTube and Google Maps. If it’s a slight drop, it can be excused but that isn’t the case apparently.

There must be a flaw or a problem with the Play Store and other applications from Google as we can’t think of anything else that can explain it. Do you have any idea what it is?
