Sony Xperia XA2 Plus Hints At 3.5mm Return!

Sony Mobile has been making some extensive changes to their line-up in the past year or so and among them is the unpopular decision to remove the 3.5mm audio jack.

Sony never explained why they have decided in killing the traditional feature and this suggests that they were merely following the market trend. But today, the Japanese company surprised everyone when they reversed their decision through offering an audio jack port with the upcoming Xperia XA2 Plus.

Sony released photos of their next mid-range device hours ago and you can see that there’s an audio port on the body. The availability of the feature on the Xperia XA2 Plus strongly suggest that future Sony phones will follow suit in coming with the 3.5mm audio jack.

If so, Sony can look forward to a significant gain in market share due to the fact that most phones of today are lacking the traditional feature – something which the majority of consumers really want.
