Xiaomi Poll Shows Everything Wrong With Smartphone Industry

By  |

There is one big problem in the smartphone industry and it is not with the saturated offerings in the market. The crisis right now is with phone manufacturers blindly following new trends without considering the thoughts of the consumers.

What’s more surprising here is that China-based tech company, Xiaomi, is the one that has exposed this crisis when they pulled off a large sample poll on consumers living in the UK.

One particular poll captures our attention more than the others and it is in regards to the removal of the 3.5mm audio jack. The result of the poll saw more than 80% participants standing against the removal of the audio jack.

It is plain obvious that the vast majority prefers using wired headphones and they hated the Android OEMs that have blindly followed the axing of the traditional feature which was started by Apple.
