2021 Audi Q7: America Can Forget About PHEV

The 2021 Audi Q7 will be coming in with a long list of upgrades and as nice as that is, it looks like those living in the US can forget about seeing the plug-in hybrid version of the Q7.

According to the reports, Audi is looking at the Q7 plug-in hybrid and seeing that it could interfere with the Q5 plug-in hybrid as well as the E-Tron EV model and because of that, they have decided that they will not be offering the plug-in hybrid model here in the US.

What we will be getting is the 449hp engine that matches the A8 engine as well as the 375hp engine that will be offered with the base model. Both these will come with the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine with an electric motor.

As for the one with the combustion engine only, that is still on the way to the US but there is still no news on when it will be coming.
