Audi RS Q3 Not Ready To Part With Five-Cylinder Engine Just Yet

There was a lot of prediction suggesting that the Audi RS Q3 will not be coming with the five-cylinder engine the next time around and that we will be seeing it with a smaller engine but it is clear that Audi is not ready to part with the Audi RS Q3 yet.

According to Autoblog, the Audi RS Q3 will be coming with the five-cylinder engine but the engine will not be offered here in the US. The engine will be a q2.5 liter turbocharged engine that will be offering about 400hp and 354lb ft of torque. The vehicle is said to be able to go from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 174mph. The engine will come mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Unlike the standard Q3 model the RS model will come with an updated exterior that includes a frame-less black grille, twin oval exhaust tips and more. Features like the carbon-ceramic brakes will be offered as an option.

The vehicle is expected to arrive in Germany early next year but no price has been announced yet.
