Despite getting some pretty positive response when they updated the Camaro, it seems like the muscle car is still having trouble getting ahead of the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger.
To boost the sales of their Camaro, Chevrolet is now offering a huge discount offered to Mustang owners. According to GM Authority, Chevrolet will be adding $2000 to the $1000 consumer cash which means buyers can get $3000 off their Camaro.
Ford Mustang owners that qualify for the discount will be able to get a 2019 Camaro LS for $22,995. The discount will only be offered on the 2019 models which will come powered by a 2.0 liter turbo-four engine that will be offering about 275hp and 295lb ft of torque and will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro was also given an update to match some of the changes they made to the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro SS model. The 2020 model will now come with a crossbar in body color, new bowtie logo position and more.
