It does feel like every developer is looking to offer some Battle Royale mode in their game and that includes the new NHL 20 game which was a little unexpected since it is not that common to have the battle royale mode in a sports game.
So what does the NHL 20 Battle Royale has to offer? The mode is called the Eliminator and while it is not a real battle royale like PUBG or Fortnite, it will feature some of the same elements. Players can choose to take part in the game in ones or a team of two or three and they will need to survive four consecutive rounds in a bracket to win.
Besides the new mode, it was also revealed that the pond hockey will be much wider this time around with four outdoor rinks including The Farm, The Park, The Canal, and The Peak.
NHL 20 is already out now on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
