Jeep Gladiators Called Back Over Driveshaft Issue

The Jeep Gladiator has just arrived but Jeep is already issuing a recall to bring it back after it was discovered that there might be some issue with the driveshaft.

According to the report, the Gladiators will be recalled due to the driveshaft not being properly lubricated. This could lead to the driveshaft overheating and seizing or fracturing. It was explained that the mistake could have been made by the parts supplier.

About 3427units of the Jeep Gladiator will be affected by the recall with those affected being manufactured from the 15th of December 2018 until the 25th of June 2019.

Of all the recalled models, it was speculated that maybe only 5%of those will have the issue but Jeep wants to make sure they check all first. Affected owners should be contacted by Jeep on the 18th of October 2019.
