Game Freak is still keeping a lot of details from us included the length of the game but they did drop us a hint on how long they think the game will take an average player to complete.
According to the developer, the length of Pokemon Sword and Shield is comparable to the other Pokemon games we have had in the past. Shigeru Ohmori, the director of the game also added that the game’s other activities like completing the Pokedex and exploring some of the WIld Area will increase the value of the game and extend the gameplay time significantly.
One of the new features that we will be seeing in the new game is the Wild Area which is an open world expense where Pokemon roam around and in this area, the Pokemons are not scaled based on where you are level-wise in the game. That means you might encounter some pretty strong Pokemon early on so you will need to be a little more careful now.
Players can also interact with each other here so they can battle and trade with other players online. Pokemon Sword and Shield will be released on the Nintendo Switch on the 15th of November.
